Most of the features of emirates.com on desktop are also available on your mobile browser, like browsing flights and booking a ticket. Only some minor products or features might not be available when using your mobile.

It’s free to use our site (and the App) while you are connected to Wi-Fi. However, if you are using data roaming abroad, you might be charged by your provider while connected to the internet, or you might need to pay to use any available Wi-Fi connection.
The Emirates App is designed especially for mobile use. We’re always updating it to include the latest and most important features you need to manage your flights, bookings, and Emirates accounts. Using emirates.com on your mobile browser is similar to using the website on your desktop, apart from some minor compatibility differences. Some features vary between the App and emirates.com on your mobile, but generally, you’ll be able to find all the features you need on the App.
A mobile boarding pass allows you to go through security and board your flight without needing to use any paper or printed documents. Just tap your phone with your mobile boarding pass barcode at the different checkpoints at selected airports(opens in the same window). You will need to be connected to the internet to access your boarding pass.
Request your mobile boarding pass by logging into your booking through the Emirates website on your mobile browser or PC. If you’re using the App, your boarding pass will download straight to your device when you check in.
Downloading your mobile boarding pass to your device will help save time at the airport, as you can use it just like a paper boarding pass at all checkpoints in selected airports(opens in the same window).
The image can be scanned at the airport as normal at any stage of your journey, without an active internet connection.
If you’re using an iPhone iOS6 or later versions, and you check in through our mobile App, you can store your boarding pass on your mobile to use without an internet connection. Choose the delivery option “Save to device” and use the Wallet App to access your boarding pass to scan at the airport.

The Emirates App is designed to work best on your phone. It is easier to use and manage than browsing the Emirates website from your phone internet browser. It’s much more enjoyable to use the App to keep track of all your travel needs from your phone, rather than navigating on the website.
The App is also personal to your use and is downloaded to your device. It will remember your flight history and other information, so you won’t need to enter the same details every time you log in.
You don’t need an Emirates Skywards account to use the App. All Emirates customers can use it.
However, an Emirates Skywards account is free to set up, and is especially useful for frequent flyers and members of our Emirates Skywards programme. Having a personal Skywards account makes it quick and easy to book and manage your activities with us, and also means you can earn and spend Miles with every flight booking.
You’ll be asked to log in with your password and details the first time you access the App – after that, you can either stay logged in or log out each time.
Check the “More” section on the App for options on logging in and out.
You’ll need an internet connection to log in to the App for the first time and to use data-heavy functions like booking and managing your flights. Don’t worry if you’re caught without any Wi-Fi or mobile data – you’ll still be able to access the App and your information offline.
You can use The Emirates App at any Wi-Fi hotspot around the world. You can also access the App through 3G/4G data signal, although you’ll need to check data roaming charges.
We’ve designed most of the notifications and functions to use as little battery life as possible, although if you’re using the App with 3G or 4G data for a long time it will use more.
You can choose how your personal information and notifications are used to enhance your App experience from the “More” section within the Emirates App.
To access any of your flight bookings on the App, simply enter your name and booking reference in “My Trips”. If you are already logged on to your Emirates account in the App, your bookings and upcoming travel will appear in the “Home” and “My Trips” sections.
You can then manage all your bookings from within the App, and customise their names to match your trip, eg. “My Birthday Trip to Rome,” or, “Conference Trip to New York.”
The Emirates App only shows flights that you have booked with your Emirates Skywards number.
To add a booking to “My Trips,” you will need to retrieve your booking and add your Skywards number to it. You can do this from the App in “My Trips,” by clicking on the “+” addition symbol. Once you have retrieved your booking and added your Skywards number, this flight booking will automatically appear in “My Trips.”
Yes, you can browse flights, compare fare prices, and book your flights, all on the Emirates App. The App offers the same booking options as our online booking process, so you can book your whole flight itinerary using just your phone.
You can pay for your flights using your credit or debit card, or in an Emirates office if you’re in a region where real time payment isn’t available.
You can also pay by Paypal.
The “More” section of the App will let you decide how your personal information and notifications can be used to make your journey more simple.
Yes – any changes or bookings you make on the Emirates App will be mirrored when you access emirates.com on your mobile browser.
